Switzerland manager Jakob 'Köbi' Kuhn presents his guide to Switzerland.

I was born in Zurich and have lived there for most of my life, so for me it is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland - the Wiedikon are, where I grew up, is particularly special for me. The high standard of living and the landscape make Switzerland special. My favourite mountain, Rigi, is in central Switzerland. Also called the 'Queen of Mountains', it overlooks three lakes - the marvelous Vierwaldstättersee, as well as the Zugersee and the Lauerzersee.

Of course, you have to see Zurich too - even if it is raining there is so much to do like walking up the Rennweg, the street that leads up from the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse. It is always nice to stroll through the old town and there are lots of cafés to try out along the river Limmat. If the sun is shinning and especially when the warm southern wind - the Föhn - is blowing, you can see the Alps in the distance over Lake Geneva.

My favourite restaurant is the Gran Sasso on Ägertenstrasse. The food is fine and the waiters are as friendly as the owners. Prices are modest. I also like to cook. On Sundays, I sometimes prepare a roast with a risotto, although my favourite dish is fish – fried sole and potatoes.
